New publication in Frontiers in Endocrinology by NW paediatric clinical research fellow!

Congratulations to NW clinical research fellow, Dr Chris Worth, and the rest of the team for their work being published in Frontiers in Endocrinology today!

The team studied the incidence and risk factors for adrenal death in young people with adrenal insufficiency in the North West of England. They also investigated pre-hospital symptomatic adrenal insufficiency and adrenal crisis as well as parental management in order to better understand events leading up to hospital admission. Finally, they undertook an investigation into the perceptions of and reasons behind parental actions at times of adrenal crisis.
